Forest Bathing
Shinrin-Yoku is a Japanese practice that literally translates to "forest bathing." Our forest bathing guides are trained in a modified version that focuses not only on slow and intentional wandering through nature, but also on awakening the senses, both bodily and imaginal, in order to feel not just in nature but a part of it.

Mindful Movement
We believe movement is the core of embodiment and is essential to a healthful mind-body relationship. Jonny is a certified yoga instructor and each trip has the option to offer guided, yoga-informed movement for participants.
Guided Hikes
Guided hiking, led by knowledgeable and experienced naturalists and wilderness first responders, is a core component of our trips and is always on offer. We believe that becoming familiar with a place happens not only through the body and the heart but also through understanding. Our guides will offer knowledge of local plants, animals, geology and watersheds in service of your growing connection to the land.

Guided Meditation
Sitting meditation can help to center and ground us while offering a space in which to simply breathe and be present in your body. We believe in the power of meditation to bring both body and spirit into alignment, opening up the possibility for growth, healing, and connection.
Giving Back to the Land
We have found that while being present with and getting to know the land can be a wonderful and often healing experience, the healing is deeper when reciprocity is involved. In order to honor the gifts we receive from the land, we offer environmental service experiences in cooperation with local non-profits that allow us to give something back.
