THE WILD ARTIST
Tapping Into Natural Creativity
Our weekend artist's camping retreat in the Hudson Valley invites you to nurture the natural artist within you by connecting with nature, fellow artists of all kinds, and your inner muse. Nestled in the Shawangunk Mountains and the Mohonk Preserve, our site at Stone Mountain Farm offers peace, quiet, privacy, and a preponderance of natural beauty. We partner with the Wild Arts Collective, and the Rail Trail Cafe, to bring you a weekend like no other, filled with opportunities for authentic expression, mindful movement, community building, and deepening your relationship with the Earth.
LENGTH: 3 days, 2 nights (Friday to Sunday)
DATES: May 29-31, 2026

WHO IS THIS TRIP FOR: Adults (Ages 18+)
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: 8 - 12

We find that sleeping close to nature helps us connect more deeply. However, we also believe in a good night's sleep. You are free to bring your own gear, but if you'd like to rent ours, we can provide tents you can stand up in, and sleeping pads that feel more like a bed.
MEALS: We will be eating breakfast under the trees at the Rail Trail Cafe. Lunches will be eaten out on trail - typically with a view, and dinner will be cooked over a fire under the open sky. All meals provided by the Rail Trail Cafe. Most dietary needs can be accommodated.
FITNESS LEVEL: We will engage in gentle movement and hiking during our time together. It is recommended that participants be able to walk and carry a small day pack for a mile without difficulty.
